Pressure

Checking the pressure in each tire is important. When you do so, you will want to make sure that each one has the proper amount and recommended air pressure. There might be a couple recommendations that you get for knowing the air pressure. The tire sidewall will have the air pressure recommended by the tire manufacturer. While this may seem like the ideal amount, you will want to actually check what your vehicle manufacturer says. You can check the inside door jamb of the driver’s door. This will alert you for how much air pressure the tires should have. Some will even have a different amount for the front tires and another amount for the rear tires. You can also look in the owner’s manual for the vehicle to see what the proper pressure should be.

Pressure for the tires

When tires are having difficulty holding air, you will want to make sure to bring the vehicle in so we can inspect it for you. Tires that are over inflated will pick up sharp object on the road. This can then lead to the air leaking out of the tire quickly or on a regular basis. You may also notice if a tires is under inflated. This can result in the tire blowing when there is not enough air in it. Another sign of the tire too low on air is if the tire pulls in one direction or the other. If this happens, make sure to contact us so we can check the tires.

Regular maintenance is always important for the vehicle and how it operates. Make sure that you follow all the recommendations on when your vehicle should be inspected. If you are not sure, we can also advise a schedule. When the vehicle is properly taken care of, it will be more reliable for you on the road.
